BHOLA is a simpleton and darling of the Village. For any problem or work, he is there and the village counts upon him. There is a local Politician in the village who promises many things. But ultimately does nothing. As long as BHOLA is in the village, he will not be able to win the Election. Because Bhola is straightforward. Sincere and honest person. Hence to get rid of him, he tactfully packs him off to a city with the hope that he will get a good job and earn for his family and fulfill his duty towards his sister who is about to get married.
RUPALI, the heroine of the film DALAL, loses all her belongings in the floods except her younger brother. She comes to the city and takes shelter with her relative along with her cousin brother. But unfortunately, her cousin's brother turns out to a pimp and sells her to JAGANNATH, the famous DALAL. In the meantime, even BHOLA somehow reaches JAGANNATH’S abode and tells him that he is also from his village. JAGANNATH takes BHOLA under his patronage and turns him into a Pimp without his knowledge. In the process, BHOLA and RUPALI become friends and fall in love. BHOLA thinks that he is doing his noblest job by making departed brothers and sisters meet.
As the story progresses, he realizes to his horror, the JAGANNATH has turned him from a simple and innocent soul into a Pimp. His wrath knows no bounds.
BHOLA who is no more an innocent sitting duck takes the upper hand. How ultimately BHOLA and RUPALI along with her brother, sister, and father FREE from the clutches of JAGANNATH see ‘DALAAL’, a PRAKASH MEHRA PICTURES PVT. LTD. PRODUCTION.
